THE IDEA

Patterns behave differently in sunlight, shadow, interiors, photographs, and motion.
That is precisely why we want CYBERFIBER pieces photographed in the real world.
A model wearing an X-FLARE garment isn't simply displaying a product.
They're helping us discover what the textile actually does.
And in exchange, we want the collaboration to be useful to you.

We aren't looking for generic promotional photographs.
We're interested in images with enough character to become part of your professional portfolio.

Our emerging Model-to-Muse concept is simple:
Select a CYBERFIBER piece.
Choose a garment or textile application that fits your visual direction.
Receive preferred pricing.
Participating models may receive a substantial discount on qualifying CYBERFIBER pieces in exchange for an agreed photographic contribution.
Create your shoot.
You bring your modeling, styling, location, collaborators, and creative sensibility.
Submit the work.
We agree beforehand on a manageable number of finished images and usage permissions.
Build your portfolio.
You retain your credited portfolio use of the work.
Earn future CYBERFIBER credit.
Strong collaborations can lead to additional discounts, future garments, featured portfolio opportunities, and invitations into subsequent CYBERFIBER projects.
The goal is not to give you a coupon.
The goal is to create a repeatable pathway in which your participation can help finance your next piece of creative work.
NO FAKE ENTHUSIASM REQUIRED
This matters.
We aren't asking participants to manufacture praise.
We don't need:
“OMG this is the greatest garment I've ever worn!!!”
We would much rather hear:
“Here's what I discovered when I photographed this material in direct sunlight.”
That is useful.
That is credible.
That is research.
And it protects the sensibility of everyone involved.
CYBERFIBER is interested in real presentation, not promotional flattery.
WHY X-FLARE?
One of our current research directions, X-FLARE, transforms solar phenomena into textile language.
Solar flares.
Plasma currents.
Magnetic structures.
Solar illumination.
Fractal geometry.
The original insight behind X-FLARE was unexpectedly physical:
Some of our solar-derived prototypes seemed to belong naturally to sunlight itself.
Rather than simply contrasting with their environment, they appeared to participate in it.
That observation led toward a larger CYBERCAMO question:
Can camouflage become resonance rather than concealment?
And that leads to another question:
What happens when a textile designed around solar intelligence encounters a human body?
We need people to help us find out.
