Opening: a short orientation

Sono Sol Gold (SSG) is a small, intentional sound practice grounded in listening, form, and material attention. It grew out of long-term inquiry into resonance, solar imagery, and structured sonic gestures. The work is studio-scale, artist-led, and designed to give participants a contained, time-bound encounter with sound as environment and practice.

Put simply: SSG is about how we listen, and what we might learn from choosing shape, duration, and texture deliberately. It is not a clinical treatment, a spiritual cure, or a wellness protocol. The emphasis is on aesthetic experience, compositional clarity, and reliable session structure.

Core intent: practice over promise

When we describe SSG we start with practice, not expectation.

  • Practice: a 60–90 minute, artist-facilitated session that explores sustained listening and subtle variation.

  • Containment: sessions are intentionally bounded — clear start/end, limited participant number, focused pacing.

  • Materiality: sounds are treated as compositional materials (timing, timbre, envelope, relation), not as prescriptions for outcomes.

  • Curiosity: sessions invite attention and experimentation; they do not promise transformation, healing, or measurable change.

This stance keeps the offering honest and platform-safe: we can explain what SSG does (provide a structured listening encounter) without claiming things it doesn’t do.

What happens in a session

A typical Sono Sol Gold session is simple and repeatable by design:

  1. Arrival & framing (5–10 minutes): Brief orientation by the artist—what we’ll do, how the session is contained, and any logistics. Minimal verbal framing so the listening can begin quickly.

  2. Focused listening (50–70 minutes): A continuous sonic arc unfolds. The artist shapes duration, texture, and movement in real time. Participants are invited to sit, lie down, or move gently—whatever supports focused attention.

  3. Quiet closure (5–10 minutes): Soft re-centering and practical exit instructions (no directive debrief unless requested).

Sessions are offered for 1 or 2 participants, in-person or remote, and are 60–90 minutes in length. They are artist-led encounters with sound as medium and form.

Who SSG is suitable for

SSG is intentionally niche and low-capacity. It’s a good fit for people who:

  • want a concentrated listening experience led by an artist;

  • are curious about sound as compositional material;

  • work in or appreciate experimental music, movement practice, or creative research;

  • value clear structure and small-scale, carefully facilitated sessions.

No prior experience is required. SSG is not intended for treating medical or psychological conditions; participants should not expect therapeutic outcomes.

Language matters: how we talk about the work

Because this practice sits near areas that attract overclaiming, we keep our language precise:

  • We describe sessions as experiential, artistic, and facilitated.

  • We avoid health or therapeutic claims, and we do not publish testimonials that imply healing outcomes.

  • When referencing influences or teachers, we cite them as inspiration for practice and language—never as guarantees of effect.

This careful framing is part of the project’s integrity: it protects participants and keeps the work sustainable for a solo artist.

  • Format: In-person or remote (platforms agreed on booking)

  • Fee: $125 per session (payment required to hold a booking)

  • Recording: Sessions are unrecorded unless explicitly agreed beforehand and formalized in writing

To request a session: email artchetype@proton.me with preferred dates/times, in-person or remote preference, and number of participants. Confirmed bookings receive a checkout link and a simple session agreement.

Accessibility & boundaries

SSG is designed to be accessible in form and modest in scope. A few practical notes:

  • Participants may choose a seated or reclined posture; minimal movement is permitted.

  • The space and pacing are intentionally calm; if you need frequent verbal interaction during a session, please indicate this when booking so we can discuss fit.

  • Because sessions are artist-facilitated and small, availability is limited—booking in advance is recommended.

Why this model?

The combination of artist direction + small scale + clear containment makes SSG sustainable for a solo operator and legible for participants. It allows for consistent quality, minimizes risk of misunderstanding, and supports a body of writing and resources that explain how the work is made—without drifting into promises.

This model also creates a natural discipline: each session is a study in duration, timbre, and relational listening. Over time those studies become a living archive of practice rather than a product that must be sold at scale.
