Why “Escape” — and From What?

“Escape” is often misunderstood as avoidance.Here, it means something far more precise:

A deliberate exit from disorientation.

Ar[t]chetype Ministry’s Virtual Pursuits · Expeditionary Studies exist for people who sense that the dominant cultural maps no longer describe the terrain they are walking through — socially, spiritually, cognitively, or creatively.

To escape, in this context, is not to disappear.It is to step outside inherited frames long enough to see clearly again.
