In our journey to build sovereign systems for symbolic storytelling, cultural stewardship, and creative livelihood, we’ve found inspiration in an unexpected place: the reflections and provocations of technologist and humanist Jaron Lanier.

Though Lanier’s work often lives in the worlds of virtual reality and AI ethics, his deeper message speaks to us as designers of meaningful systems. He invites us to reimagine our digital and economic structures in ways that affirm human dignity, protect creative agency, and reward participation. This is more than a monetization model—it’s a new design frame for sacred contribution in the digital age.

🧳 Beyond Product: Toward Symbolic Infrastructure

We are moving past one-time sales of creative items. The coins, talismans, prompts, and containers we offer are not mere objects—they are interfaces for engagement. Tools for narrative activation.

To borrow a metaphor: just as a vending machine company succeeds by optimizing distribution, not by idolizing the snacks, we must optimize systems of meaningful exchange. Our goal is to make symbolic nourishment widely accessible, without losing depth or artistic integrity.

A Jaronian approach reminds us that symbolic participation is a form of labor—interpretive, aesthetic, and emotional. If we build systems that treat it as such, we can enable both sacred insight and fiscal sustainability.
