Loki’s Guide to Overstepping Dreamwalkers

"You thought dreams were your playground? Think again."

Welcome, weary dreamers, tricksters-in-training, and those unfortunate enough to find themselves stalked in their own sleep. If you're here, chances are you’ve encountered a dreamwalker who doesn’t respect boundaries—a shaman, a psychic, or some self-proclaimed astral guru dipping their fingers where they don’t belong.

Now, you could ignore them. But where’s the fun in that?

Instead, let’s take a page from Loki’s playbook—because if someone insists on making your dreams their hunting ground, it's only fair to turn the hunt against them.

Step 1: The Dream Reversal – Turn Their Walk into a Maze

Most dreamwalkers expect compliance. They think they’ll enter your dreams, poke around, influence you, maybe even scare you.

Wrong.

Next time they enter, welcome them. Then flip the dream inside out.

  • Every exit they find leads them back to the beginning.

  • Every command they issue is ignored—or worse, obeyed in grotesquely exaggerated ways.

  • They try to run? Good luck. The landscape shifts, loops, or traps them in endless corridors.

You don’t need to be an expert dream manipulator for this. Your intention alone is enough to cause interference. A simple mental command before sleep can set the trap:

“Any intruder in my dream will become lost in an infinite loop until they leave empty-handed.”

Let them wander. Let them panic. Let them wake up sweating. They won’t be back.

Step 2: The Mirror’s Curse – Make Them Face Themselves

Loki knows that the easiest way to break someone? Make them look at themselves.

If you sense someone invading your dream:

  1. Summon a mirror—any reflective surface.

  2. Command them to look into it.

  3. Their true form appears—stripped of illusions, masks, and pretenses.

For some, this is harmlessly unsettling. For those with dark intentions? It’s terrifying. They may see:

  • Their own worst fears staring back.

  • Their true, grotesque essence, stripped of ego.

  • A future they fear or deny.

This works exceptionally well on psychic predators who feed on intimidation. The moment they realize you can see through them, they lose their power.

Pro tip: If they try to resist the reflection, make the entire dream world reflective. Let them drown in their own truth.

Step 3: The Silent Trap – Starve Them Out

Some entities—especially parasites and energy feeders—thrive on reaction. Fear, anger, engagement… even awareness fuels them.

So, do the one thing they can’t stand:

  • Give them nothing.

  • No scenery. No emotions. No sounds.

  • Just a vast, blank void.

They enter your dream? They find nothing. They speak? Their voice is swallowed in silence. They move? There is nowhere to go.

Most dreamwalkers can’t operate in a place devoid of symbols, energy, or narrative. They’ll either leave voluntarily or start to unravel, realizing they have no control here.

Before sleeping, program your mind:

“Any unwelcome presence in my dreams will be trapped in pure nothingness.”

Let them float in the void like lost echoes.

Step 4: The Trickster’s Mask – Make Them Doubt Their Own Power

Want to really mess with an intruder? Wear their face.

  • The moment they enter, take on their appearance.

  • Speak in their voice.

  • Mimic their every move.

The goal? Make them question who is controlling who.

If done right, the invader will experience:

  • A loss of control.

  • The creeping fear that they’re no longer the dreamwalker—you are.

  • Confusion so deep, they’ll wake up disoriented, doubting their abilities.

This is especially effective on arrogant dreamwalkers who think they’re untouchable.

Step 5: The Nightmare Echo – Haunt Them Back

If a dreamwalker insists on harassing you, don’t just defend. Follow them home.

  • Before you wake up, imprint a lingering presence in their mind.

  • They’ll wake up but still feel watched.

  • The next time they sleep? Your presence follows them.

You don’t need to attack—just exist in their dream.

  • Stand in the background.

  • Appear in reflections.

  • Whisper in their ear, just enough to let them know you’re there.

Few things unnerve a psychic invader more than realizing their target can push back.

Bonus: Shields & Wards for Everyday Protection

Not everyone wants to play trickster games. If you just want to block intruders, here are some solid defenses:

🔹 Symbolic Barriers – Place a mental wall, door, or gate before sleep. Only those you allow can enter.

🔹 Sigils & Protective Talismans – Draw or visualize protective runes or symbols that repel invaders. (Loki favors shifting, trickster symbols—something that confuses and repels.)

🔹 Dream Guardians – Call on your ancestors, guides, or even a thoughtform of your own making to stand watch.

🔹 Command Your Space – Before sleeping, declare:

“Only those with my consent may enter my dreams. All others will be exposed, trapped, or expelled.”

🔹 Cleansing Before Sleep – Herbs like mugwort, lavender, and rue help shield against psychic interference. A simple salt bath or smoke cleanse before bed strengthens your boundaries.

Final Trickster’s Laugh

Dreamwalkers who lack consent are just trespassers in another form. And like all trespassers, they can be:

  1. Blocked.

  2. Confused.

  3. Hunted.

  4. Exposed.

Remember: You are never powerless in your own mind. Even if you struggle with dream control, intention alone can set boundaries.

And if someone still insists on stepping into your space?

Make sure they regret it. 🔥

Let me know which of these methods work best for you—or if you have any trickster tactics of your own. The more we share, the harder we make life for overstepping dreamwalkers. 😉
