MISSIVE: Studio Lab

My journey through Lucent Technologies and AT&T left an indelible mark on my entrepreneurial spirit. These organizations, as I understand it, develop inventions and then sell them to business and industrial decision-makers who bring them to market. This process, akin to lawmaking in its complexity and duration, involves meticulous planning and collaboration over several years.

While such lab operations may have other funding sources, my focus has always been on intuitively navigating the design of entities that house both artists and art. My business model draws inspiration from scientific frameworks, although it operates on a smaller scale. However, scalability has always been a consideration as I organize a studio that functions as a creative business development company.

My exploration of various audiobooks this month aimed to address my business challenges. The alignment of my lifestyle and design ethos with cosmological principles naturally lends itself to scientific endeavors, hence my synergy with the lab operation model.

My tenure at Lucent and ATT in the late 90s was pivotal. Handling the inventions resulting from my inner work and cosmological applications fostered an affinity with these companies and the business models they represent. Concurrently, art, design, and information technology adhere to their respective industry standards.

The term "Interdisciplinary" only entered my lexicon around 2010, prior to which I rejected the notion of integrating different approaches. However, my spiritual culture taught me the interconnectedness of various disciplines, sparing me from debates about their compatibility often seen in academia.

Thankfully, these "isms and schisms" never impeded my journey of creation and invention, which found inspiration in the world-building abilities of visionaries like Walt Disney and Keith Haring. As I matured, I drew inspiration from figures like Frank Lloyd Wright, Alex Grey, Rowena Kryder, Buckminster Fuller, and Jacques Fresco, all of whom shared a vision for architecture in some form.

Navigating my eccentricities while embracing the visions of these luminaries required years of experience, leading to the confidence to manifest beyond conventional limitations. Despite the challenges of reconciling my uniqueness with the support needed from the outside world, I am now poised to move forward and manifest my vision on my terms.
