To Whom It May Concern — and to Those Who May Have Misjudged Me

There comes a time when clarity must rise above rumor, and dignity must speak for itself. This is one of those times.
If you’ve heard — or perhaps assumed — that I’ve stolen something, I invite you to pause and consider the full weight of such a claim, and the full truth of my life.
The truth is simple:I did not steal anything.
Not time, not trust, not resources, not credit, and certainly not anyone’s property. I have been under considerable duress — displaced, vulnerable, surviving against the current of circumstances that many wouldn’t survive a day in. But my integrity? That’s one thing I never abandoned.
I’ve carried my art, my ideas, my vision — and yes, my burdens — with me across cities, communities, and conversations. I’ve slept outside while dreaming up systems to empower others. I’ve lived with less, so I could imagine more for those like me: the unhomed, the underestimated, the misread. But none of that gave me license to take what wasn’t mine — and I never did.
Let me be clear:I reject the shadow cast by suspicion.I renounce the lies, whispered or shouted. And I reclaim my right to be seen whole — not through the fog of false accusations.
If you felt harmed, unsure, or skeptical because of something you heard or assumed, I invite you to speak with me directly. I am not hiding. I am not ashamed. I am right here — building something from nothing, with clean hands and a determined heart.
To those who know me, thank you for standing with the truth. To those who doubted me, I offer you this letter as a mirror: not of guilt, but of grace.
In this world, where injustice often hides behind authority and poverty is mistaken for criminality, I choose to walk upright. With purpose. Without fear.
Sincerely,Tufani Mayfield

Would you like me to format this as a visual letterhead, a social media graphic, or a spoken video script as well? It can be a healing affirmation not just for you — but for others wrongly labeled, too.
